Recommended Training
- Stop the Bleed – every one of is much, much more likely to be in a situation where we have to render aid than we are to have to use deadly force to defend ourselves. And to our particular discipline, if you are training on how to put holes in people, you need to know how to care for holes in people. Accidents happen, on the range and at home. Lifesaving skills are always worth it.
- Citizen’s Safety Academy – home defense and personal protection training with special attention and focus given to nontraditional gun owners.
- Rangemaster – instructor training as well as defensive pistol and shotgun training, all developed with high standards of evidence and careful attention to how adults learn.
- ShivWorks ECQC – combative handgun skills and practice at extreme close range (0 to 5 feet). Abundant demonstration and practice opportunities, often sobering.
