Self defense is a human right.

The 2nd Amendment recognizes this right, though it did not create it.

In the tumult of the last several years, some voices have increasingly been claiming that the second amendment – that human rights broadly – should only be granted to certain people.

We believe that rights must be upheld for all. There are no groups of human beings – whether categorized by race, gender, religion, place of origin, or any of the other ways that our community might differ – who do not deserve protection of their rights.

No matter who you are, you and your community deserve access to the skills, knowledge, and experience that can form the basis of your self- and community defense practice. Firearms are one tool in this toolbox, and in the United States the prevalence of firearms means that everyone should know at least the basics of safe handling and operation.
